The Big Idea: Sharing = More Adventures
Instead of letting expensive outdoor vehicles and equipment sit unused, what if owners could rent them out to others? A true peer-to-peer rentals marketplace—built on honesty, reliability, accountability and accessibility —where everyone wins.
Our Mission: Freedom to Explore
We’re not just another rental company. We’re a community that believes:
- Ownership shouldn’t be a barrier – Rent UTVs, boats, RVs, snowmobiles, jet skis, and dirt bikes affordably.
- Idle vehicles help no one – Owners earn money while making adventures possible for others.
- No more rental headaches – A simple, peer-to-peer system with real people, not corporations.
Build on Values, Not Just Profit
From day one, OutdoorShare was about fairness, trust, and generosity. We refuse to take advantage of renters or owners—because we’ve been in their shoes.
Join the movement. Share the adventure. Make every outdoor experience possible.
The Problem We Lived
They heard the same frustrations over and over:
- I’d love to take my family camping, but buying an RV is way too expensive.
- I only use my boat a few times a year—why does storage cost so much?
- Renting a UTV for the weekend is impossible without paying a fortune.
- I don’t have a truck or have any idea how to find a way to enjoy these fun toys.
Sam and Nick experienced these issues firsthand. They knew there had to be a better way—one that didn’t lock people out of adventure just because they didn't have access to everything.
“The Uncle With a Boat” -My inspiration for creating the outdoor sharing economy (OutdoorShare)
I loved every minute I spent outdoors—camping under the stars, casting my fishing line at dawn, playing pickup games until sunset—but I always wanted more. More adventure. More freedom. More of that heart-pounding excitement that comes from exploring the wild places around me.
Growing up surrounded by lakes and mountains should have meant endless outdoor fun, but for me, it often meant frustration. I dreamed of boating across glassy waters and tearing down forest trails on a 4-wheeler, but:
- Our local area generally had small garages that couldn't fit these "toys"
- My family didn't own a truck to haul anything even if we could find something to use
- No rental shops existed nearby, and none of my friends owned this equipment
- It was very expensive to own so not many people made the investment to own these toys in these conditions that I knew of
I could see the adventures waiting just beyond my reach—the perfect boating coves, the untouched trails—with no way to experience them.
The Uncle that changed everything
Then there was my uncle with a boat.
Twice a summer, we’d drive two hours past countless lakes and trails we couldn’t use, just to spend an afternoon on his boat. He was completely selfless. His main priority was to make sure his family had fun. Period.
Those days taught me more than how to dock a boat or wake surf. They taught me:
- The magic of shared experiences—laughing with cousins as we wiped out tubing.
- The power of unplugging —no screens, just sunsets and real conversations.
- How a single act of generosity can ripple across generations.
Today, my cousins and I are still close. *Our kids* are growing up together. My uncle and his boat are a large contribution to our relationship. These relationships have changed my life and driven me forward in my impactful years when I needed it most.
Your Toy Can Be Someone Else’s Core Memory
Imagine if:
- Every RV, jet ski, UTV, ATV, Boat, snowmobile, Etc sitting unused could spark joy for another family.
- Every owner of these toys could be someone’s “uncle with a boat”—creating bonds that last lifetimes.
- Renting peer-to-peer wasn’t just a transaction, but a way to pass the torch of adventure.
That’s the future we’re building.
Become the “uncle with a boat”. Share it → Create memories → Change lives.
